NOVOMIX is the new complete line of colouring paste for tinting systems (decorative) developed by the division Speciality Chemicals of EUROCOLORI S.r.l..

NOVOMIX colouring pastes are designed to be emploied in most common manual and automatic tinting systems (volumetric and gravimetric).

The new line of NOVOMIX tinting pastes is based on an innovative and patented polymeric wetting and dispersing system, no-VOC, without alkyl-phenol-ethoxylates, (APEO Free), with a highly reduced impact for the environment and users' health.

According to customer requirements, NOVOMIX colouring pastes are available on two different lines:

• • NOVOMIX AQUA, for decorative paints based on polymer dispersions (emulsion resins) of all kinds and water based coatings; for chemically aggressive water based systems (lime, silicates, cements, etc...) there is a selection of pastes formulated with PH indipendent wetting and dispersing agents (Novomix Mineral).
  
  
• • NOVOMIX UNI, for water based systems and for decorative solvent borne paints and enamels, mainly based on medium-long oil alkyd resins (architectural alkyds).

• Colouring pastes based on latest developed high molecular weight wetting and dispersing additives;
• Inorganic colouring pastes with "nanotech oxide pigments"(ultra-micronized iron oxides);
• Binder free, NO-VOC, Apeo-free and labelling free colouring pastes, in accordance with most restrictive SHE requirements.

• Semi-fluid pastes ready to use, with a pourable and pumpable consistency;
• Pigment pastes stringently controlled in order to ensure the maximum colour repeatability time after time;
• Absence of differences in colour strength and shade, ensured within a max value of deltaE < 0.8 (towards Standard);
• Absence of differences in specific gravity (density) batch after batch, within a range of +-2% max (towards Standard);
• Binder-free formulations containing specific water-retention agents in order to prevent drying and hardening of paste in nozzles;
• VOC content < 10 ppm, measured in accordance with ISO 11890:2-2000 standard (Directive 2004/42/EC);
• Colouring pastes classified as "not dangerous" and "labelling free" in EU.

NOVOMIX tinting system is built up with modularity according to customers requirements.

• There is a standard selection of 12, 14 or 16 colourants, with the possibility to increase or modify the system depending on the size of dispensing machine used and the type of coatings.
• In order to achieve the best weathering fastness and for masonry applications a selection of special inorganic colouring pastes is available.
